Dr Matthias Thomas appointed as new INREV CEO

Dr. Matthias Thomas has been appointed as the new CEO of INREV. He will commence his new role in August 2010.

Matthias, who has a long and successful career in European real estate, joins INREV from the Real Estate Management Institute at the European Business School. In addition, he was managing director of IPD Investment Property Databank GmbH, which he founded in 1998.

The new CEO’s interests include real estate portfolio management under consideration of both direct and indirect investments, real estate performance measurement as well as valuation. Matthias has published over 70 articles on various aspects of real estate and has contributed to numerous national and international journals.

The Management Board are delighted to have found a CEO of Matthias' calibre with the experience, understanding for real estate to lead INREV into the future and support members through this period of recovery. The Management Board and staff look forward to welcoming Matthias to the INREV team.
 
INREV Annual General Meeting - POSTPONED
Due to the cancellation of the INREV Annual Conference, the planned Annual General Meeting due to take place in Venice on Wednesday 21 April will be postponed until early June.

GUESS THE RESULTS OF THE INREV INDEX 2009

How do you think non-listed real estate funds performed in 2009?

INREV is pleased to present its annual Index competition. The aim is for members to predict the INREV Institutional Index return for 2009 with the closest entry winning a bottle of Champagne.
