On behalf of the Management Board, we are very sorry to inform you that this week’s INREV Annual Conference in Venice on the 22 and 23 April has been cancelled. 

The continuing travel chaos due to the volcanic ash cloud over Europe will result in another unpredictable week for international travel. We have heard from many of you that you are already stranded, or have struggled home over the last few days, due to last week’s travel problems. 

We regret having to make this decision but feel it is the responsible response to this unpredictable and ongoing natural disaster. 

We would like to thank all those that have already contributed time to support this event such as the working group, speakers and committee members. The topics that would have been discussed later this week remain relevant and we will explore these in future events. 

INREV is currently reviewing the cost implications for the cancellation of this event. We will send an email with a cancellation policy that has been agreed by the Management Board by the end of business on Tuesday 19 April.
