The INREV Annual Conference is the flagship event of the non-listed real estate industry in Europe. This year's event is being held in Venice on 3 and 4 April, under the theme 'How to invest in uncertain times'.

The welcome dinner on Tuesday 2 April and the evening programme and dinner on Wednesday 3 April are open to confirmed Annual Conference delegates only.

Transport to and from Scuola Vecchia della Misericordia will be provided.

Corporate seats
INREV membership is at a corporate level and we offer one corporate seat per membership, except for Investor members who are offered two corporate seats. This is to provide all INREV members with the opportunity to attend the conference.

If you are taking up the corporate seat(s), please indicate this on the application form. It is the company’s responsibility to assign these places. If several individuals apply for the corporate seat(s) it may slow down your application. These corporate seats are guaranteed and are available until Tuesday 26 February.

The corporate seat is transferable and can be transferred to a colleague employed by the corporate member. Confirmation of transfer must be made in writing by Monday 18 March.

  • INREV members applying for the corporate seat are entitled to one seat (fee of €2350 excl. VAT per seat).
  • INREV Investor members applying for a corporate seat are entitled to two seats (fee of €2350 excl. VAT per seat).


Individual seats
Seats are also offered on an individual basis, additional to the corporate seat(s).

  • INREV committee chairs* are entitled to one extra seat. This seat is non-transferable and must be confirmed by Tuesday 26 February (fee of €2350 excl. VAT per seat).
  • INREV (Honorary) board members are entitled to one extra seat. This seat is non-transferable and must be confirmed by Tuesday 26 February (fee of €2350 excl. VAT per seat).
  • Fund Manager- and Investor Advisory Council members are entitled to one extra seat. This seat is non-transferable and must be confirmed by Tuesday 26 February (fee of €2350 excl. VAT per seat).

*Important note: 
With the exception of committee chairs other committee members will not have a guaranteed seat. Committee members will have priority on the waiting list.

Seat confirmations
Confirmations will be sent out from Thursday 14 February onwards. We will inform you by email when the corporate seat has been taken and you have been placed on the waiting list.

  • First confirmation: Thursday 14 February
  • Second confirmation: Thursday 28 February
  • Final confirmation: Monday 18 March


Waiting list
Any additional employees who are interested in attending the conference but do not qualify for a guaranteed seat are encouraged to register. Their application will be placed on our waiting list. INREV will try to accommodate those on the waiting list once we have a clear overview of remaining available seats.

If the corporate seat has already been confirmed and you wish to be placed on the waiting list, then please let us know. If you are not the only one from your company listed on the waiting list, INREV will require the seat order of priority.
Important note

The waiting list is not processed on a first come first served basis, but at the discretion of INREV to have a good balance of members at the conference. We aim to inform employees on the waiting list regarding the success of their registration no later than Monday 18 March.

INREV members: €2350 excl. VAT

This includes:

  • Two days conference on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 April 2019.
  • Two nights’ accommodation at Hilton Molino Stucky Venice on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 April including breakfast

Additional Events

Several additional events will take place around the Annual Conference.

Investor Only Seminar, Tuesday 2 April 12:30 – 17:00
This event will open with a welcome lunch and will be held at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, the day before the conference. This seminar is open to INREV members who are Investors and/or Fund of Funds Managers. If you are interested in joining this seminar, please indicate this in the registration form.

Important note
The Investor Only Seminar and the welcome lunch on Tuesday 2 April can only be attended by Investor and Fund of Funds Manager delegates, confirmed for the Annual Conference.

Annual General Meeting (AGM), Tuesday 2 April 18:00 – 19:00
The AGM will be held at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. This meeting will start at 18:00 and is open to all INREV members. Registration for this event will open end of February and members need to register for this separately.

Important note
Confirmed delegates for the AGM do not automatically have a seat at the Annual Conference.

Demonstration of the Asset Level Index system and analysis tools, Wednesday 3 April 16:45 – 18:00
During this session, we will take you through a demonstration of the online tools for the Asset Level Index and show you how you can use this system to analyse your own portfolios and compare your performance against a market index. We will also take you through the simple online data input and validation process, and show you how you can manage your own company’s permission through the system.

Accommodation

Hotel reservation
A room will be reserved for all attendees, including breakfast, with single occupancy at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice on Tuesday 2 April and Wednesday 3 April 2019.

Due to limited bedrooms available in the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, we have booked an overflow at the Hotel Danieli, where transportation will be available during the day to the conference hotel. INREV will allocate the bedrooms.

The Hotel Danieli is located in the city center, very close to Piazza San Marco and the Hilton Shuttle Boat - St Marco Stop. If you are staying at Hotel Danieli, shuttle boats will be available during the conference days 2 to 4 April and will take approximately ten minutes to the Hilton hotel.

Important notes
Extra costs, such as mini-bar, will be at your own expense.
Please be informed that the hotel rooms are part of the total conference package and can only be omitted if you are based in Venice.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport, the hotels can be reached in various ways.

Hotel Danieli - Hilton Molino Stucky

If you are staying at Hotel Danieli, there will be shuttle boats available during the conference days (2-4 April), leaving from the Hilton Shuttle Boat - St Marco Stop. It will take approx. 10 minutes to the Hilton hotel.

Terms and Conditions

General 
1.1.    The Membership Terms and Conditions fully apply to INREV Events. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any provisions of these Event Terms and Conditions and the Membership Terms and Conditions, first the Event Terms and Conditions and then the Membership Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

1.2.    All INREV Events, not including INREV Training Courses, are accessible for INREV Members and INREV’s invitees only, with the provision that registration for INREV Events is only possible for Representatives.

1.3.    Notwithstanding provisions regarding the costs of cancellation or no-show, all INREV Events are free of charge.

1.4.    Admission to any INREV Event is subject to registration and subsequent written confirmation of that registration by INREV. If a Member has not yet paid their annual INREV membership fee, INREV will not confirm registration of any of their Representatives for the Annual Conference until payment is made.

1.5.    By registering for an INREV Event, attendees accept and acknowledge that images may be taken of them during the INREV Events and give INREV express permission to use these images for reproduction. Only in the event that such an image depicts a close up of a particular attendee or a small group of attendees, INREV shall seek additional permission for the use of such an image.

1.6.    Unless explicitly otherwise agreed, INREV Events are for Members and their Representatives only. Partners of Representatives are not able to join the INREV Events or any other event-related activities such as lunch and/or evening events.

Cancellation and no-show policy
2.1.    Although attendance of most INREV Events is free of charge, cancellation is not. When registering for an INREV Event, INREV will inform Representatives of the applicable cancellation fee. 

2.2.    With the exception of cancellation for the Annual Conference, there is no charge for cancellation until two weeks before the start of the INREV Event.

2.3.    With the exception of cancellation for the Annual Conference, full cancellation fee must be paid when cancelling within two weeks of the start of the INREV Event.

2.4.    As a Representative, if you register and your registration is confirmed by INREV, but you do not attend an INREV Event (no-show), INREV reserves the right to charge you with the full cancellation fee to cover the costs that INREV will incur. 

Annual Conference
3.1.    INREV membership is at a corporate level. To provide Full Members with the opportunity to attend the conference, INREV offers one seat per Member, except for Investor Members who will be offered two seats. These corporate seats are guaranteed and kept available until five weeks before the start of the INREV Event.

3.2.    As a Member, if you are taking up the corporate seat(s), please indicate this on the Event registration form. It is the Members responsibility to designate these corporate places to specific Representatives. Any further interested Representatives are encouraged to register and will be placed on the waiting list. INREV will make their best efforts to accommodate these requests. INREV aims to release the waiting list two weeks before the start of the INREV Event.

3.3.    INREV guarantees seats for the INREV (Honorary) Board Members and INREV Committee Chairs. These Members are required to register their designated Representatives for these seats at least five weeks before the start of the INREV Event. After this date, INREV cannot guarantee seats will be available.

3.4.    A fee (Attendance Fee) is due for attendance of the Annual Conference. The Attendance Fee is communicated to Representatives at the time of registration. Payment of the Attendance Fee must be received at least three days before the start of the INREV Event. If full payment of the Attendance Fee is not received by INREV in time, INREV reserves the right to reject entrance.

3.5.    The Investor Only Seminar and the welcome lunch on the first day of the Annual Conference can only be attended by Investor delegates and Fund of Funds Managers who are members of INREV, with confirmed registrations for the Annual Conference.

3.6.    The welcome dinner on the evening of the first day of the Annual Conference, the evening programme on the second day of the Annual Conference and the closing lunch on the last day of the Annual Conference are open to designated Representatives as referred to in clause 3.2 above and Representatives with guaranteed seats as referred to in clause 3.3 above, with confirmed registrations for the Annual Conference.

3.7.    As a Representative, if you register for this INREV Event and your registration is confirmed by INREV, but you are unable to attend (no-show), you will be charged with the full attendance fee to cover the costs that INREV will incur, unless you are replaced with another Representative at least fourteen days before the start of the INREV Event.
As a Member, if you are taking up corporate seat(s) as referred to in clause 3.2 above, or guaranteed seats as referred to in clause 3.3 above, but a designated Representative does not attend, INREV reserves the right to charge you with the full Attendance Fee to cover the costs that INREV will incur, unless they are replaced with another Representative at least fourteen days before the start of the INREV Event.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment
After delegates have received their official confirmation e-mail from INREV, an invoice for the conference fee will be issued via email. We kindly ask to settle the payment as soon as possible, no later than Friday 29 March.

Kindly be aware that payment must be received before the conference, otherwise entrance can be rejected. If payment is made by bank transfer, the member is responsible for this being complete before the day of the conference.

Important note
If your company has not yet paid their annual INREV membership fee, your seat to the conference will not be confirmed.

Payment date
Payment no later than Friday 29 March.

Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your seat, please send a notification by email to events@inrev.org.

Alternatively, it is possible to transfer a corporate seat to a colleague within your company, however this is only possible until Wednesday 20 March in writing.

In case of a no-show, the full conference fee will be applicable.
