European ODCE - performance slows in Q1 2019

The second consultation release of the European ODCE Index includes 12 funds which represent gross asset value (GAV) of €24.4 billion. 

Key highlights of the European ODCE Index Q1 2019:

  • A total return of 1.18% was delivered over Q1 2019, down from 1.38% in Q4 2018
  • Offices are still the largest invested sector and accounts for 42.9% of the index 
  • With 40.8% of the total GAV, Germany and France represent the largest part of the index

European ODCE Quarterly Index

The Index is wholly comprised of open end core commingled equity real estate funds that have a strategy to invest across pan Europe and across multiple sectors. Funds must comply with a strict eligibility criteria for four consecutive quarters in a row to be included in the index.
