Funds of Funds AUM rose to at least €33.6 billion globally during 2019

Funds of funds keep delivering positive returns to investors for the seventh year in a row according to the ANREV/INREV Funds of Funds Study 2020. The total return delivered by these types of vehicles was 5.6% in 2019, slightly below the 6.6% delivered during 2018. 

Key highlights include:

  • Funds of funds assets under management rose to a minimum of €33.6 billion globally during 2019
  • Global strategy funds of funds are those delivering the highest returns to their investors
  • Funds of funds with a global strategy represent the most popular strategy by the number of funds and by NAV.

The study is international in scope, and is conducted in conjunction with ANREV in Asia Pacific.
