The INREV pan-European quarterly Asset Level Index recorded a total return of 1.79% in Q3 2019, driven by capital growth of 0.79% and income return of 1.00%.
Key highlights of the INREV Asset Level Index Q3 2019:
- The Netherlands remains the best performing market with a robust total quarterly return of 2.84%, much of which was driven by strong capital growth in the residential sector.
- Industrial/logistics delivered the most compelling results with a total return of 2.71%, closely followed by residential at 2.61%.
- With -2.19% total return, the UK retail sector recorded the worst performance among major European markets.
