The INREV pan-European quarterly Asset Level Index recorded a total return of 2.43% in Q4 2019, driven by capital growth of 1.45% and income return of 0.97%.
Key highlights of the INREV Asset Level Index Q4 2019 include:
- The Netherlands continues to deliver a strong performance with a robust total quarterly return of 2.98%, while the UK market underperforms with a total return of as low as -0.31%.
- The residential sector delivered the most compelling results with a total return of 3.33%, closely followed by industrial/logistics at 2.96%. With -4.41% total return, the UK retail sector recorded the worst performance among major European markets.
