a.s.r. is investing over € 100 million in the CBRE Pan European Core Fund. After its earlier investment in the BlackRock Eurozone Core Property Fund, this represents a next step in the diversification of a.s.r.’s international real estate portfolio.
The CBRE Pan European Core Fund’s portfolio focuses on prime retail and office real estate as well as well-located logistics real estate, predominantly in the euro zone.
The Dutch pension and life insurer has joined the ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund as an investor. The investment amounts to € 100 million. ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund’s portfolio now consists of approximately 5,000 residential units, with approximately € 1.5 billion in invested assets.

LaSalle Investment Management has taken over sole management of the €1.8bn pan-European real estate fund Encore+.
The open-ended core fund had been managed in conjunction with Aviva Investors since its inception in 2006, but in May it was announced that the joint venture would end. As part of the transaction, Aviva Investors also sold its global real estate multi-manager business to LaSalle.
