Collaboration overtakes Europe’s regulatory mission

Since the beginning of the year, the focus of policymakers in Brussels has shifted remarkably. The European Commission and Parliament have turned their attention away from developing new measures to regulate the financial sector, lower systemic risk and increase financial market transparency.
