European non-listed real estate ends the year on a high

European non-listed real estate funds delivered a strong end to 2017, with a quarterly return of 2.75% over the final quarter of 2017, almost 60 bps higher than the 2.16% previously recorded, bringing the 2017 year end performance to 9.55% according to the results of the INREV Quarterly Index Q4 2017.

The biggest driver of performance was from the distributed income return which delivered 1.23% to returns, significantly higher than the 0.70% previously.  
Capital growth also added to performance with 1.51% over Q4 compared with 1.47% over Q3.

The Quarterly Index is published 8 weeks after the end of the quarter, and reports are available in PDF format.
