Save the date for after summer

We hope you are all enjoying the summer but don’t forget to block your agenda for INREV happenings this autumn. There’s something for everyone offered online and across various cities.

We will kick off on Thursday 29 August with the Tax and Regulatory briefing call of ‘Preparing for the 5th Anti-Money Laundering Directive’.

In September, we’ll be celebrating ESG month and shining the light on all things Environmental, Social and Governmental – so watch this space for further info. We’ll be taking a deep dive into the results of the Fund Terminations Study with an online briefing on 5 September. We will then offer two training courses: The Fundamentals of Fund Structuring in London on 17 September where delegates get a practical understanding of tax and legal aspects that need to be taken into consideration when structuring a new vehicle; this will be followed by a the ESG course in Copenhagen on 25 September where you can gain an overview of current ESG strategies and requirements for non-listed real estate investments. A Roundtable on Climate Risk will also be taking place in Copenhagen on 25 September, addressing the ever-present topic of climate change and its associated risks.

Members can dial in on the same day, 25 September, for the monthly tax and reg briefing call on a current tax or regulatory topic affecting our industry.

In October, the events calendar gets into full swing, starting with the popular North American Conference in New York on 2 October, this is a great opportunity for our North American members to catch up and hear from experts on what’s happening in the European non-listed investment industry. The October edition of the Research briefing will focus on the Index results and of course, October would not be complete without the annual breakfast gathering at EXPO in Munich on 8 October. To round the month off we will offer two roundtables on Advanced Tax and on Finance, Operations and Technology in Berlin on 16 and 17 October respectively. The Advanced Tax half-day will update delegates on current tax developments and changing national rules that impact fund structuring and challenge tax planning. The Finance, Operations and Technology Round Table will be a full day for senior finance, technology and reporting specialists to discuss how the latest technology trends are impacting your business.
