INREV has published a Spectrum for Investment which for the first time, enables members to better position themselves in the potential impact investing market. The spectrum maps out the different approaches for real estate, depending on investors’ ambition for environmental and social impact, ranging from traditional investments at one end and philanthropy at the other. The framework is intended to help members visualise how impact investments can be differentiated from other investment approaches and to provide examples from real estate.
