Pavel Pavlov

INREV Data Analyst

Data Analyst Pavel Pavlov is INREV’s newest member of staff and continues to add to the international flavour of the office.

Bulgarian born and educated, Pavel began his real estate career in Sofia working for Cushman & Wakefield’s affiliate office, where he provided tenant and landlord representation services to local and international clients. After a brief foray into investment banking with an internship at BNP Paribas, he returned to the property agency world as a Senior Associate with CBRE. Here, his work included shopping centre management such as financial reporting, leasing and cash flow projections.

During this time he also studied for a Masters in Economics, Finance and Banking at Sofia University. It was his decision to pursue a second Masters – this time in Business Economics, Real Estate Finance track – that brought him to Amsterdam. He teamed his education at the University of Amsterdam with an internship at AXA Real Estate, where he was a Fund Raising and Sales Support Analyst.

INREV gives you a 360 degree industry view.

At INREV, he works on the Index including coordinating the quarterly requests for data from fund managers and calculating the Index. He has also helped work on the Data Management System which was launched recently with final improvements due to be released at the end of April.

He is also supporting on the development of the global index and assisting ANREV with the calculation of its quarterly index. He also puts together the Industry Newsletter on a fortnightly basis.

Despite, already having lots of property experience, Pavel still says he has lots to learn and the INREV environment is great place to do that. “It gives you a 360 degree view on the industry and, while you might not be able to look into micro issues, the bird’s eye view and the research helps you stay one step ahead,” he says.
