Annisa Dian Prima
Senior Research Manager
Annisa Dian Prima is one of the newest members of the INREV Research and Market Information team, joining the organisation in August 2014 on the completion of her PhD in Real Estate.
In her first few months as Senior Research Manager, Annisa has learned just how different research can be from that of her student days at University of Reading.
‘At university you undertake studies in interesting areas but you do not see the findings applied in practice. But at INREV your research makes an impact and that is very rewarding. It is great to see that your work has an influence.’
One of Annisa’s roles is to help improve the links between academia and industry. She oversees INREV’s academic project to fund and support academics and industry professionals worldwide to undertake research into specific areas of interest.
‘We have a lot of academic members so INREV wants to support that community and increase awareness of its work. If you look at the listed sector there is a lot of research compared to the non-listed sector. Therefore, by encouraging more research we can support our members,’ says Annisa, who will be presenting at several universities this year.
At INREV your research makes an impact and that is very rewarding.
As well as commissioning academic and other third party researchers Annisa also manages and contributes to the production and development of annual and ad hoc research projects.
Annisa enjoys the wide variety of topics that INREV covers and works with a diverse number of members and organisations, including the INREV Research Committee.
Recent work she has been involved with includes the 2014 Funds of Funds Performance Update and the INREV Investment Intentions Survey 2015. Upcoming projects include the INREV/ANREV/NCREIF Fund Manager Survey 2015, the INREV/ANREV/NCREIF Capital Raising Survey 2015 and Understanding Fund Risk.
