Paul Boske

Finance Manager

Paul Boske, Finance Manager at INREV, is settling into his new role at the organisation and helping to improve financial reporting and processes.

Paul’s first day at the INREV office was not the usual newcomer experience. Having worked previously at the company that undertook its audit work, he was already familiar with the INREV business and team.

INREV continues to grow, with an overall revenue of €5m, with 28 new members in 2015 and a growing team. It is important that fees are deployed in the best interest of  members, and this information is effectively communicated to them. To support this Paul is responsible for improving the documentation of INREV’s financial processes and audit preparation, the result of which can be found in the financial section of the INREV Annual Report 2014.

Every activity we undertake for members is reflected in our financials.

One of Paul’s biggest projects since joining has been to improve quarterly financial reporting. ‘It has become more reliable and accurate, it gives my colleagues an improved understanding of where they are and as a result provides members valuable information about how  their fees are invested,’  says Paul.

With a growing staff base, Paul’s projects for 2015 also include reviewing HR processes in addition to his ongoing commitment to make everyone’s lives  easier: ‘I want to support the team with my expertise,  so their responsibilities towards the budget are made as easy as possible, and they can focus on their core job.’
