Andreas Guth

INREV Public Affairs Manager

Andreas is a natural fit for his role in public affairs having been steeped in the world of the EU from an early age. He is German but born and raised in Brussels to parents who worked for European institutions. After a Masters degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht, he followed in the family business but with a focus on advising companies and organisations how to navigate the EU to approach and influence policymakers.

This was most recently with global public affairs consultancy Weber Shandwick. Prior to that, he was responsible for trade and customs policy at the European Association for Information and Communication Technology and Consumer Electronics (DigitalEurope), so has experience across many sectors. “My work in consultancy has been across a number of diverse sectors so this role at INREV is a good opportunity to learn in-depth about one sector.” Andreas is currently based in the Amsterdam office but will return to Brussels when INREV opens its office there in 2012.
