Claudia Kapp

INREV Research Manager

Being in Amsterdam means Claudia is far from her native Peru but she had already spent time in Europe before joining the research team in Amsterdam. She recently returned to education and received her Master in Science and Master in Philosophy from the Panthéon Sorbonne Université in Paris.

Prior to this she worked for the General Secretariat for the Andean Community, an organisation that supports the integrated economic development of Peru, Bolivia, Columbia and Ecuador. This was following an under graduate degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester.

The role is a great opportunity for me as it’s a perfect combination of my background in international relations and economics. It’s also a crucial time for the sector and I’m eager to help tackle the issues facing the industry.

Claudia sits in the research team but much of her work will be to support INREV’s public affairs positions by gathering data from within and outside the industry and undertaking economic studies. Now just two months into the role, she is cutting her teeth on INREV’s regular programme of research to build up her knowledge of the non-listed property funds sector, but will soon be bringing her economics and political skills to INREV’s public affairs activities.
