
The INREV Introduction to Fund Structuring course will provide delegates with a practical understanding of the key regulatory aspects that need to be considered when structuring a new vehicle.

This one day course enables participants to gain a good understanding of where fund structuring sits in the regulatory landscape and the key legal drivers of a robust non-listed real estate vehicle structure.
It will cover key legal terms, the impact of legal considerations on the vehicle’s governance framework and key regulatory updates on the implications of AIFMD, MiFID and SFDR.
Delivered in a combination of presentations and group discussions, participants will learn how to execute and integrate regulatory considerations into the fund structuring process.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Fund terms and governance
- AIFMD I and II
- MiFID
- SFDR and SDR
- Introduction to the tax landscape
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognise and analyse the key regulatory drivers of effective fund structuring
- Gain a good overview of regulatory issues to consider when investing
- Have a good understanding of recent changes and trends in fund structuring
The course is designed for professionals who seek to gain an understanding of fund structuring or refresh their current knowledge. The majority of participants tend to work in the product development, legal/counsel, tax or client relations teams for institutional investors, advisors or investment managers.
