Annual Conference 2024 - Registration FAQs

Do I need to be an INREV member to join the Annual Conference?

Yes, INREV events are for members only. If you are interested in becoming a member, please click here to find out more.

How many guaranteed seats does my company have?

Investment managers, investment banks, and service providers are guaranteed one seat per membership.   

Investor and Fund of Funds members are guaranteed two seats per membership.

Do you process registrations on a first come, first served basis?

No. We offer all our members the opportunity to register for their guaranteed seat(s) until 27 February.

Do you offer personal seats?

Yes. The following individual representatives are entitled to a personal seat:   

  • Management Board members   
  • FMAC/IAC members   
  • Committee chairs   
  • Honorary members   

These seats are personal and cannot be transferred to someone else. 

Please note committee members do not have a personal seat but will be given priority on the waiting list.  

What is the registration deadline for guaranteed and personal seats?

Guaranteed and personal seats must be applied for on or before Thursday 27 February.  

When will I receive my confirmation?

We aim to send out the first batch of confirmation emails during the first week of March. 

When can I book my travel to Berlin?

We recommend waiting to book your travel until you have received your official confirmation. However, if you are certain of being confirmed—for example, you have a personal guaranteed seat or a corporate guaranteed seat and you have registered before the deadline of 27 February —you may book your travel, but you do so at your own risk.

Once my seat is confirmed, when will I receive the payment link?

We will start sending the invoices at the beginning of March.

Do you offer complimentary seats?

Yes, most investor members are entitled to one complimentary seat.   

For full investor members: One seat is complimentary, and the other reserved seat is invoiced at €2,350.   

For introductory investor members who joined after September 2023: One seat is complimentary, and the other reserved seat is invoiced at €2,350.   

For introductory investor members who joined before September 2023: Both seats are payable at the full conference rate of €2,350 per seat. 

What if we want to register more people?

It is possible to register additional representatives for the Annual Conference. However, these members can only register for the waiting list. You can indicate that you are registering for a waiting list seat via the registration form.  

Can you make any exceptions on the number of seats?

Unfortunately, we cannot. It is our policy to ensure all members have an equal opportunity to attend the Annual Conference.  

If I’m placed on the waiting list, does that mean the conference is already fully booked?

The conference is not fully booked yet. However, we first offer all our members the chance to register for their guaranteed seat(s) and personal seats until 27 February. After this date, we will start assigning available seats to members on the waiting list. 

I am on the waiting list. When can I expect an update?

We aim to inform those on the waiting list if their registration has been successful or not from 4 March onwards. 

Is the waiting list on a first come, first served basis?

No. Allocation of seats from the waiting list is at INREV’s discretion to ensure the attendees list reflects the overall membership. 

Can I register on behalf of someone else?

No, the person who wishes to register must be logged into their individual account to do so. 

Who can attend the Investor Only Seminar?

The Investor Only Seminar on Monday 22 April is open to Investor and Fund of Funds members only.

Does the conference fee include accommodation? And how do I book extra nights?

Your conference fee includes accommodation at the InterContinental Berlin on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 April.  If you wish to extend your stay, please contact us on events@inrev.org.

The rate is €199 per room per night, single occupancy. 

Cancellation free of charge up to 72 hours prior to arrival. Afterwards all additional nights are charged

Cancellation policy and no-show policy

  • There is no charge for cancellations until 29 March 2024 17:00 CET.
  • Cancellations received after 29 March 2024 17:00 CET will be charged the full cancellation fee of €2350
  • Participants who do not show up at the event (no show), will be charged a €2350 no-show fee.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes necessitate changes in plans. However, we want to inform you that INREV has entered into contracts and agreements with various service providers and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of this events.

Therefore cancellations, regardless of the circumstances or reason, received after 29 March 17:00 CET will be charged the full cancellation fee of €2350.
