Amro prepares to sell £85 million SW London coliving project

Joint venture partners Amro Partners and NTT UD Europe (NTT UDE) - a subsidiary of a Japanese real estate developer NTT Urban Development - have announced the practical completion of The Rex, Kingston, a co-living project located on a gateway site next to Kingston rail station.

The landmark development, the first co-living project developed to BREEAM Outstanding sustainability standards in the UK, welcomes its first residents this month. The official opening ceremony, attended by NTT UDE’s senior management team visiting from Tokyo and Amro’s senior management team, will take place in early December.

The Rex is the first project delivered by the partnership between Amro and NTT UDE, marking NTT UDE’s successful debut into UK’s Living (multi-family and co-living) sector.

Providing 212 co-living apartments within a vibrant, amenity-rich environment, The Rex caters for a diverse community of residents, from young professionals and key workers to long-term locals and downsizers seeking a connected, environmentally responsible way of living in London. Located directly opposite Kingston Station on one of the town’s key pedestrian routes, The Rex creates a vibrant and welcoming gateway into the town centre and supports Kingston’s wider regeneration and placemaking ambitions.
