Arrow Capital Partners has completed a 266,044-square-foot logistics lease to Evri at its Arrow Point Barnsley development in South Yorkshire.
Evri, one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, has taken the last remaining unit at Arrow Point Barnsley on a long-term lease. Following the earlier completion of a 186,000-square-foot lease to Gem Imports, the development is now fully let.
The Evri unit benefits from 26 dock level loading doors, two level access loading doors, an internal clear height of 15 metres, 61 HGV parking spaces and 169 car parking spaces, alongside a power capacity of 2.7 MVA.
The net-zero embodied carbon development incorporates extensive sustainability features, including air source heat pump technology, electric vehicle charging points and ‘solar ready’ roofs, and has achieved an EPC rating of ‘A’ and a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.
Arrow Point Barnsley is strategically located next to junction 36 of the M1 and is in close proximity to the M62, M18 and A1 motorways, providing its occupiers with easy access to Leeds and Sheffield. It also enables convenient links to international cargo hubs including the Port of Liverpool, the Port of Hull and the airports of Manchester, Leeds and the East Midlands.
