The Bouwinvest Healthcare Fund has acquired a €97 million healthcare real estate portfolio of 11 private residential care complexes in the Netherlands from care home operator emeis.
The portfolio consists of five recently completed projects in Best, Ede, Emmeloord, Heerenveen and Middelburg and six projects yet to be built.
Wonen bij September, which is part of emeis, provides the care in the residential care complexes. The target group of the complexes are senior citizens with more intensive care needs. Bouwinvest expects all the new-build projects to be completed by 2025.
