DWS Acquires Modern Residential Property in Greater Copenhagen

DWS today announced the acquisition of “Mekanikken”, a residential property located in Brøndby in Greater Copenhagen on behalf of one of its institutional real estate funds from a joint venture between CCP 5 LL, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, and Keystone Investment Management.

Completed in late 2022, the property comprises two residential blocks featuring 215 modern and bright, open plan apartments that offer a mix of residential flats and terraced housing as well as car park facilities. Designed to maximize livability and comfort, each residence comprises high quality finishings such as parquet flooring, ample windows to optimize daylight, and other added conveniences as standard. In addition, private balconies, shared rooftops and courtyard gardens allow residents easy access to green outdoor spaces.

“Mekanikken” stands out for its strong ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) credentials. The property is gold certified by DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) and features environmentally friendly amenities such as rooftop solar panels and an EV (electric vehicle) equipped car park.

Situated approximately ten kilometers west of Copenhagen's city center, its prime location in the fully redeveloped area of Kirkebjerg benefits from excellent public transport connectivity into the city centre via the S-train, and the newly finished light rail stations located either side of the property.
