DWS Group, a leading asset manager in Europe with global reach, has acquired a high-quality residential portfolio comprising a total of 155 apartments in a forward purchase transaction from PANDION AG, one of Germany's leading project developers. The units are part of larger quarter developments in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich. The portfolio represents a transaction volume in the almost three-digit million-euro range.
All units are currently in the final construction phase and will be completed in the course of 2025. In Berlin-Friedrichshain, the acquisition is part of the PANDION Mid-town project, which will comprise a total of 474 apartments, most of which have already been completed. DWS has acquired 65 residential units and 28 underground parking spaces in the fourth and final construction phase.
In Düsseldorf-Heerdt, the sale involves 22 residential units and 17 underground parking spaces within the PANDION Albertussee district, where around 750 apartments will be built in stages by 2028. Completion of the sold units is scheduled for summer 2025.
The Munich transaction is also a partial sale: The PANDION Verde 2 project in Munich-Neuperlach will comprise a total of 133 condominiums. DWS is acquiring four of a total of seven buildings with 68 residential units and 55 underground parking spaces. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2025.
