Revelop has signed a 13-year lease agreement with the tech company Plejd for approximately 22,000 square metres in its asset Hästägaren 3 in Mölndal, Gothenburg. Plejd will establish a new tech campus with capacity for up to 1,000 employees in the asset, including the company’s new headquarters and a combined production and R&D facility.
Mölndal forms part of the Gothenburg region’s strong innovation and industrial ecosystem and continues to attract knowledge-intensive technology and industrial companies, driving demand for modern office and operational environments.
The project letting is in-line with Revelop’s thematic investment approach, to invest in real estate with untapped potential in sub-markets with growth and ongoing structural transformation. By active asset management, development initiatives and targeted capex programs, Revelop future-proofs assets while generating attractive value for investors and support local market growth.
Revelop will reposition the existing asset into modern and flexible premises tailored to Plejd’s growing operations. The new facility will enable the company to consolidate key functions and support the continued expansion of the leading tech company, which develops digital systems for smart control of lighting and electrical installations.
As part of the repositioning, several measures will be implemented to strengthen the building’s energy performance and long-term asset value, including technical upgrades and implementation of an AI-based energy management system to optimize energy use.
