Schroders appoints new non-executive director

Schroders European Real Estate Investment Trust has appointed Phil Redding as an independent non-executive director of the company, taking effect from the new year.

Meanwhile, Sir Julian Berney will step down as Chairman and retire from the Board at the conclusion of the AGM in March 2026. Redding will succeed him.

Redding brings a total 35 years of experience working in the UK and pan-European property sector. After beginning his career at what is now known as JLL, Redding then served as chief investment officer and executive director at FTSE 100 SEGRO, and most recently as chief executive officer of Tritax. Redding left Tritax following the successful acquisition by Brookfield.
