Valor Real Estate Partners ("Valor"), Europe's leading specialist in last-mile logistics real estate, has acquired a high-quality logistics property in Berkel en Rodenrijs, just north of Rotterdam. The property was purchased for an undisclosed amount from an entity affiliated with Ofi Invest Real Estate.
The 20,153-square-metre property is located just 8 kilometers from the center of Rotterdam. Thanks to its direct connection to the N471 and the nearby A16, the property is located in one of the most strategically important logistics corridors in Europe. The building was completed in 2021 and is currently leased with a remaining lease term of approximately five years.
Berkel en Rodenrijs is an established and highly sought-after logistics submarket within the Rotterdam region. Due to its location near the port of Rotterdam, but outside the port area and the associated use restrictions, the location is attractive to a wide range of logistics service providers. The demand for logistics real estate is high, while the supply is scarce due to the limited availability of land.
This is the fifth acquisition of Valor in the Netherlands; all its properties are located in prime locations within the submarkets of Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
