The CRREM Energy Pathways consultation opened on 6 October 2026, inviting real estate market participants to provide feedback on the proposed methodology for the next generation of CRREM pathways.
The proposed revision aims to strengthen the scientific robustness and comparability of energy-based transition risk assessments, while ensuring that pathways better reflect local market conditions and property types. As part of its Open Contribution Model, CRREM is also encouraging industry participants to contribute relevant building performance data to support more representative and reliable pathways.
INREV is contributing to the dialogue around the proposed methodology, exploring opportunities to consolidate member perspectives and provide collective feedback during the consultation
Members are encouraged to review the proposed methodology and provide feedback through CRREM's ten-question consultation, which remains open until 4 December 2026.
