The European ODCE Index exits consultation and delivers its second strongest performance

At 3.29%, the Q1 2022 European ODCE Index recorded its second strongest quarterly performance on record.

Key highlights:

  • The European ODCE Fund Quarterly Index exits consultation, marking a spectacular growth over the last 10 years to reach a gross asset value (GAV) of €43.6 billion. One new fund has entered the Index this quarter, boosting its composition to 15 contributing funds.
  • The Q1 2021 performance reached a healthy 3.29%, a slight decrease from 3.35% delivered in Q4 2021. At 2.79%, capital growth boosted the latest results.
  • At 11.29%, the Index performance was even stronger on the four quarters rolling basis, well above its 3 and 5 year annualised equivalents of 5.74% and 6.10%, respectively

European ODCE Quarterly Index

The Index is wholly comprised of open end core commingled equity real estate funds that have a strategy to invest across pan Europe and across multiple sectors. Funds must comply with a strict eligibility criteria for four consecutive quarters in a row to be included in the index.
