The INREV All Funds Index posted an improved quarterly return of 0.89% in Q3 2020, up from -0.67% recorded in the previous quarter.
Although far from the pre-pandemic levels, this quarter’s performance saw capital growth turn positive again to 0.14%, up from -1.48% in Q2, while distributed income return declined only slightly to 0.75%.
Key highlights of INREV Quarterly Index Q3 2020:
- Core funds outperformed value added funds, with Q3 returns of 0.97% and -0.47%, respectively
- Industrial/logistics sector outperformed among single sector strategies, with a notable recovery in Q3 performance to 3.38%, up from 0.62% in Q2
- All single country strategy funds posted positive total returns, apart from those targeting the UK. Germany was in the lead with quarterly return of 1.82%.
