INREV and EPRA commissioned an update to last year's Real Estate in the Real Economy report and infographic which investigates the role of real estate in the real economy.
The report concludes that the commercial real estate industry contributed €452 billion to the EU economy in 2019 – significantly larger than either automotive manufacturing or telecommunications sectors and 3.1% of the total European economy.
