On 15 September, we hosted the INREV Technology Seminar exploring the theme of 'Working with AI – The data, technology and mindset shift shaping Real Estate'. The programme covered three key themes:
- Where are we with AI? - Stephen Walker, Head of AI & Technology Real Estate & Alternative Investments at Aberdeen and Chair of the INREV Technology Committee, set the scene on the current state of AI adoption across the industry.
- Data first: The building blocks of AI - Sebastian Overhage, Digital Transformation Manager Finance & Operations at Zurich Investment Management Real Estate, explored the role of data in enabling successful AI implementation.
- PropTech to performance - Robbert Heekelaar, Vice President of Architecture & Emerging Technologies at Prologis, and Shreya Sheth, Head of Real Estate Technology at PATRIZIA, discussed how smart technology solutions at the building level can move beyond innovation and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The seminar concluded with a panel discussion and audience Q&A, offering attendees the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers on AI, data and PropTech.
