INREV appoints Lucy Fletcher as Chair

21 May 2025, Amsterdam – INREV, The European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate, has appointed Lucy Fletcher as the new INREV Chair.

A board member since 2021, Lucy previously served on INREV’s Investor Advisory Council, and she brings over 26 years of experience in the global real estate industry to the role. She has held senior positions, including JLL in Chicago and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Asia Pacific, as well as serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Portfolio Management at QuadReal, Vancouver. In her current role as Fund Manager within CBRE’s Indirect Private Real Estate team, she is responsible for fund strategy and performance.

Alongside Lucy’s appointment, the Management Board also welcomes three new additions – joining the Board for the first time are:

  • Robert-Jan Foortse, Head of European Property Investments, APG Asset Management
  • Dennis Lopez, CEO, Quadreal
  • Mahdi Mokrane, Co-Head of Fund Management, PATRIZIA

Rainer Komenda of Bayerische Versorgungskammer has also been reappointed to the Board for a second consecutive three-year term.

Our special thanks go to Martin Lemke, AM Alpha who has served as Chair since 2021, as well as Ray Adderley, Nuveen Real Estate and Jenny Buck, who are also stepping down from the Board. Each of them has provided exemplary and invaluable contributions to INREV.

Commenting on her appointment, Lucy Fletcher said: “It has been a pleasure to serve on the INREV board over the past five years, and I’m thrilled to now take on the role of Chair. I look forward to working closely with the INREV Board, the team and the wider community as we continue to drive transparency, a priority that’s more critical than ever in today’s evolving real estate landscape”

Commenting on the appointments, INREV CEO Casper Hesp said: “Lucy has been a dedicated and valued member of the Management Board, and we’re delighted to see her now taking on the position as Chair.

“The real estate sector is becoming increasingly globalised, diversified and cross-sectoral. Against this backdrop, we are tasked with providing support to our members that reflects this change, from offering access to global indices and standards to providing insights beyond traditional fund strategies, such as on operational and direct investment. Lucy’s extensive breadth of global experience will no doubt equip us well to face this challenge and serve to benefit all INREV’s members, as will that of Robert-Jan, Dennis and Mahdi as we welcome them to the board for the first time.”
