INREV German Vehicles Quarterly Index: capital growth turns positive in Q1 2021

Germany focused strategies deliver the strongest performance among all regional strategies, with Q1 capital growth of 1.5%, up from 0.3% in Q4 2020

Key highlights of the German Vehicles Quarterly Index Q1 2021:

  • Due to a decrease in distributed income return, the INREV German Vehicles Quarterly Index saw Q1 2021 total return moderate to 0.9%
  • Spezialfonds saw a notable 153 bps quarter-on-quarter increase in capital growth, while the Publikumsfonds equivalent slipped to a negative -0.1%
  • Retail and office focused funds show the strongest improvement in capital growth among all single sector strategies, with the former seeing the first positive result since Q1 2020
