Savills Investment Management has forward-funded a Dutch logistics development on behalf of a German institutional investor.
The real estate fund manager has invested an unspecified sum to buy the project in the Schiphol area of the Netherlands from developer AM.
Construction of the asset is expected to reach completion in the first quarter of 2027, Savills IM said, adding that a lease agreement has already been secured with the logistics provider Van der Helm Logistics.
The transaction is the second under an investment mandate on behalf of the unnamed institutional investor, to assemble a European logistics portfolio. This strategy focuses on core assets in established prime logistics locations.
