The Global Definitions Database (GDD) has a new look, making it easier to find, understand and use the terminology that supports greater consistency across non-listed real estate. The GDD is a collaboration between INREV, ANREV and NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards, bringing together globally agreed terms alongside definitions specific to Asian, European and North American standards, guidelines and data products.
The revamped GDD introduces a new landing page and improved functionality designed to make navigating thousands of industry definitions more intuitive.
What’s new?
- Clearer sourcing: Each definition now makes its source and publication date more prominent, helping users quickly understand where a definition originates.
- Filtered downloads: Create more targeted outputs based on your selected topics or sources.
- More ways to browse: Switch between the new tile view and familiar list view to explore definitions in the format that works best for you.
- Flexible downloads: Choose between list and report views, with metadata included for additional context.
Whether you are checking a single term or working with definitions across reporting, research or industry standards, the improvements are designed to make the GDD a more practical day-to-day resource.
