Learning goals

This online course, which is made up of three sessions over two weeks, enables participants to gain a good understanding of where fund structuring sits in the regulatory landscape and the key legal drivers of a robust non-listed real estate vehicle structure.

It will cover key legal terms, the impact of legal considerations on the vehicle’s governance framework and key regulatory updates on the implications of AIFMD, MiFID and SFDR.

Delivered in a combination of online presentations, group discussions and case studies, participants will learn how to execute and integrate legal considerations into the fund structuring process.

The course will cover the following topics:

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise and analyse the key legal drivers of effective fund structuring 
  • Gain a good overview of regulatory issues to consider when investing 
  • Have a good understanding of recent changes and trends in fund structuring
