The fourth edition of the INREV Young Professionals Mentorship Programme is officially underway, with a successful kick-off event in Amsterdam that brought together over 100 mentors and mentees from across the industry.
Participants met their mentorship groups for the first time during a welcome session and group dinners—giving everyone the opportunity to get to know each other in an informal setting. Over the following 1.5 days, both mentors and mentees engaged in interactive workshops focused on goal setting, meeting structures, and building strong mentor-mentee relationships, all moderated by two experienced facilitators alongside the INREV team.
Another highlight was the Vondelpark run on Tuesday morning, where 15 enthusiastic mentees braved the rain to connect in a different environment with a healthy activity. The atmosphere throughout the event was open, energetic, and reflective, with several participants commenting on how valuable the early connections already feel.
“Even though we are just getting started, it already feels like a unique and valuable opportunity to connect with industry experts. I’m confident this experience will have a positive impact on my career growth.”
We wish all mentorship groups the best for the year ahead and look forward to their continued journey, with the next in-person session planned for 19 November in London.
