To ensure a consistent definition of Assets Under Management (AUM) in research and surveys and to align the INREV Guidelines with the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards we have defined the components of AUM and added the term to the Global Definitions Database (GDD).
AUM definition
This definition is aligned with the term used in the Global Fund Manager Survey and the AUM disclosure tool. The GDD is the leading source of definitions for the non-listed real estate industry and currently has over 160 definitions.
