Register now: Portfolio Construction in London

From shifting market cycles to changing investor priorities, portfolio construction has become an increasingly complex discipline. The INREV Portfolio Construction course, taking place in London on 3–4 February 2026, will examine how investors build, manage, and adapt real estate portfolios over time. It will also draw on insights from the Investment Intentions Survey 2026

Led by Matthew Ryall (Talentzio), the programme brings together a strong group of industry experts to share both strategic perspectives and practical experience.

Participants will hear from:

  • Andrew Angeli (Global Head of Real Estate Research & Strategy, Zurich Insurance)  on market cycles and strategy.
  • Achal Gandhi (Chief Investment Officer – Indirect Real Estate Strategies, CBRE Investment Management) on multi-asset portfolio allocation.
  • Maarten van der Spek (Founder, Spek Advisory) on the benefits and risks of leverage.
  • Charlotte Robinson (Senior Portfolio Manager - Real Estate Private Equity, APG Asset Management) through a practical portfolio case study.

The course is ideal for early to mid-career professionals, including institutional investors and their advisors, fund managers, investor relations professionals, as well as researchers and strategists.

By the end of the programme, participants will gain a clearer understanding of allocation techniques, portfolio constraints, and how strategic decisions shape long-term performance. The course counts towards the INREV Academy Certificate as a mandatory course for the Portfolio Management stream and an elective for the Corporate Finance stream.
