New SDDS and ESG SDDS Wiring Guides now available

INREV has released two new Wiring Guides – one for the SDDS and one for the ESG SDDS – designed to support consistent and efficient implementation of INREV’s reporting standards across internal systems and online data platforms.

Each guide sets out detailed characteristics for every data point, including methodological guidance, supplementary explanations, and IT-related specifications to facilitate technical integration. In practice, the Wiring Guide helps turn the templates into a common reporting language, enabling both investment teams and data teams to apply the standards accurately and consistently.

The materials are intentionally flexible. Managers can either:

  • Integrate the indicators directly into their own templates, systems, or data platforms, or
  • Use the templates as a ready-made reporting tool.

The ESG SDDS also has new improvements made to the template, including:

  • A new tab highlighting the environmental factors most relevant to investment underwriting and valuation, based on INREV’s recent work
  • Built-in formulas connecting asset-level and vehicle-level data to streamline completion and reduce manual effort.

Full instructions on how to use the revised template – including visual guidance – are available in the User Manual. Check out the dedicated SDDS or ESG SDDS pages to access all files or download below.
