How can the non-listed real estate industry respond effectively to a policy environment shaped by competitiveness, affordability, climate resilience and political change?
Join us in London on 17 November for the INREV Tax and Regulations Roundtable on ‘Addressing current policy drivers in tax and regulatory policy challenges’, where we’ll discuss the key tax and regulatory policy challenges facing the industry and how INREV can most effectively advocate members’ interests across the EU and UK.
Following an opening perspective from Chris Ormond, Goodwin, on policymaking in the current political environment, members will take part in three interactive breakout sessions exploring:
- Harmonisation, simplification and competitiveness: Can these objectives realistically be achieved together?
- Social challenges: How will affordability, climate resilience, energy security and inflation influence the future policy agenda?
- Risks and opportunities: How should the industry prepare for the influence of inflation and populism on policy trends and election outcomes?
Separate tables covering tax, regulations and compliance, sustainability and affordable housing will consider each theme before sharing their perspectives with the wider group.
The session will conclude with a wrap-up discussion led by Friederike Werner, DWS, followed by an informal lunch and an opportunity to continue the conversation with fellow members.
Join the discussion and help inform INREV’s approach to the policy challenges shaping our industry.
