Industrial & Logistics Vehicles post all-time record index performance in 2022

Industrial & logistics vehicles invested, largely in Germany, the Netherlands and France, produced outstanding returns of 17.9% in 2022.

Key highlights of the INREV Annual German Vehicles Index include:

• The INREV Annual German Vehicles Index posted a total return of 3.8% in 2022, down from 4.5% in 2021.
   
• Spezialfonds outperformed Publikumsfonds for the eleventh consecutive year. The performance of Spezialfonds decreased to 6.7% from 7.0% in 2021 and the performance of Publikumsfonds decreased to 2.0% in 2022 from 2.6%.
   
• Vehicles focused on Germany produced a total return of 7.9% and outperformed vehicles investing in Europe excluding Germany where total returns amounted to 3.0%.
   
• Vehicles invested in industrials / logistics, produced outstanding returns of 17.9%. This was not only the best annual performance by industrial vehicles in the index, but the highest return posted by any sector over the entire history of the index.
